DH Seasoning Chili Verde

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. pork sirloin tip roast
  • One large can green chili enchilada sauce
  • 4-6 roasted chilies, chopped
  • DH Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Tortillas
  • Fresh chopped onions & cheese for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cover all sides of the pork roast with DH Seasoning.
  2. Place the roast in a slow cooker and add 1/2 cup of water. Cook on low for 3-4 hours until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  3. Remove the roast and leave the slow cooker on low.
  4. Chop the roast into quarter-inch cubes and place them back into the slow cooker.
  5. Add the green chili sauce and chopped chilies. Stir and let simmer for two hours.
  6. Garnish tortillas with fresh chopped onions and cheese, and serve with the chili verde.
